RTX 3080(?) spotted in Time Spy - 31% faster than 2080 Ti

And now the wait for RDNA2 cards to release, but if nVidia is able to deliver 30% increases across the entire stack compared to Turing, and AMD is able to get anywhere near close to that with RDNA2, assuming the prices are in the realm of reality, it'll be a major win for everyone...

Now when's AMD's leaked performances going to make an appearance...

With the release of some high end cards in the near future I thought I would give a little reminder.

Don't buy any graphics cards that aren't release with stable drivers. If it doesn't work out of the box, return it right away.

Don't get caught up in the wait for new drivers thing.

Aye, don't  preorder anything, and wait for both AMD and nVidia to get their cards on the market and then the AIBs to get their custom versions out so you can get a good handle on the prices which are supposedly "much more affordable" according to AMD than Navi. Although AMD's reference coolers are supposed to not be the blower type starting with this upcoming generation, they'll still likely be inferior to all of the AIBs custom models, plus AMD will likely have teething issues with new cards, the same as they do every year, only exacerbated by the fact it's first generation ray tracing for them, though we hope a year later there still aren't major unresolved bugs in the Known Issues...
