What level do i have to be to be able to get into the Rig Of The Month Contest?
The Rig of the Month contest isn't running right now. I wish they would bring it back though. I keep asking about it.
Great opportunity for some one, I already work on computers.
Big fan of giveaways. Shame I'm never lucky though
You never know. Keep trying and the odds improve each time.
Sharing my build. My CPU is now having BSOD issues. RMA in progress. Anyway, I was hoping to do some photo/video editing, 3D and gaming. I love the speed when the system did not BSOD. I hope to upgrade to a 7900XT or XTX later hence the more powerful PSU.
Gigabyte X670 GAMING X AX V2 (1.0)
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X
Sapphire RX 6800 XT (I won this in The Riftbreaker game competition organized by Exor Studios)
Kingston KF560C36BBEK2-64 kit
4 x WD_BLACK SN850X NVMe™ SSD (RAIDed) - Yields 14K M/T. Who needs Gen 5.
FSP Hydro G Pro 1000W
Antec Perfromance 1 FT
Artic Liquid Freezer II 360
Artic P12 Max 120mm fan replaced for exhaust.
You are definitely setup for new GPU. Good choice on PSU. I feel like 1000w is almost standard now, especially with new gen parts.
Just for some info. The rx6800xt you have is super stable and something like 5 percent slower then the 7800xt. And less then 25 percent slower then the 7900. Honestly, I’d keep running that 6800. you’ll gain a few new tricks with the 7000 series but not as much frame rate as you would think. I own the rx6800xt and I truly love that card more then my 7800xt and 7900xt. For one it’s cooler is huge and it can keep it cool really well “xfx brand”. It’s so much more stable then the 7000 series. Call me crazy… lol!!
Yes... But for now I guess I won't upgrade yet because I live in Penang (where the Malaysian AMD chips are packaged). The weather here is very hot. I can feel the heat rising from my case even with Tjmax at 85 and -20mv under volt. I need to give the AIO time to dispel the smell.
Can you send me a free RDNA4 card? My wife is cheap and I can't upgrade without landing in the gulag.
We can "say" I won a contest. Deal?
Lmao… me too.. but any card I’ll be happy with. Even a xtx. Hehe..!
Have you tried turning your fans inwards on the aio? It cools much better because it sucks cooler air in instead of using the warm air to cool a warm rad. Just some old school know-how been doing it a long time. All my aio are pulling fresh air in thru the rad when I build except small itx builds. It does help a lot about a 10-12c difference.
That's awesome! I'm definitely checking out the Red Team Community. Love building and gaming, and the chance to win some sweet prizes is a bonus. Can't wait to join the discussions! Any tips for a new member?
Watch the exciting things happening in the Modders group. We are taking things to the next level.

Yes,AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) is a leading technology company known for its high-performance processors (CPUs) and graphics processing units (GPUs), which power a wide range of PCs, from gaming rigs to workstations. AMD’s CPUs, like the Ryzen series, utilize a multi-core architecture that offers impressive performance for both gaming and productivity tasks. These processors are known for their competitive pricing and efficient power usage, often offering more cores and threads at similar price points compared to Intel, their main competitor.
AMD's technology is also leveraged in mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, where the performance of AMD-powered chips can enhance the experience of running Android apps, enabling smooth multitasking, faster processing, and better graphics rendering, making AMD’s contributions vital for mobile and desktop computing alike.
