Red Dead Redemption FFFFFF crash to desktop with Vulkan

This is an old problem with the game, even affecting nvidia users, but it's happeneing more often now, apparently after the September 2022 patch.  Does anyone know some new tweaks to prevent it?  I've tried DX12 but it gives the ERR_GFX_State error and crashes too.

The commandline tweak from Rockstar was intended for ERR_GFX_State also.  And I've already tried forcing asyncComputeEnable to "true", as well as the launch option -ignorepipelinecache .

Have you made any progress on this issue? I'm running into the same thing on my not 7900 xtx and I have tried everything I can thing of, and found online, to solve the issue but I cannot get the game to run for more than 10 min without the ERR_GFX_State crash.

Recently I've put the game back to Vulkan but this time enabled FSR and to prefer quality. It looks almost the same but at least I get about an hour or more of playtime before crashing.  In fact yesterday it crashed twice but today hasnt.  I think it's a lost cause with this game, the issue must be with Rockstar's network or launcher.

I also have the same issue with a brand new full amd pc Ryzen 7 7700 and 7900 XTX. I also have issues with my earphones and cant even open rocket league! It is crazy how many bugs this system have =(. If you can solve it please let me know, I also change the settings and been using the GPU at 50% to help reduce the crash but still happens, but not sure FSR helps or not.
