I want to dual boot with Linux, so I'm looking for a 780M laptop under 1000$ (1200$ after tax max). It will be my primary machine, mostly for work and college along with some light gaming.
Other preferences are 1TB SSD, and a good build. I currently have Macbook Air and really enjoy the frame and touchpad.
Also, I see that 780M is perfect for running indie games on medium and some old AAA games like XCOM2 and HoI4. How well does it perform on ultra settings for such games?
