Rayzen 9 7900 at startup 1% usage 90-100 temperature

Hi all,

Eight months ago, I built my PC with a Ryzen 9 7900. At first, it didn’t do any of this, but for the past few weeks, I’ve noticed that when I turn on the PC, the fans immediately ramp up to 100%, and the CPU temperature rises to 90-100 degrees Celsius. At first, this would last 1-2 minutes, but now it lasts longer and takes more time to return to its idle temperature of 35-40 degrees.

When this happens, I always check the Task Manager, but there’s nothing unusual. The CPU usage is between 1%-4%.

The liquid cooling is an MSI MAG CORELIQUID M240, and I believe it's working fine since, during gaming sessions, the CPU temperature is usually between 55-75 or 80 degrees.

Any idea why this might be happening? It didn’t do this at first, and now it’s getting worse, and I’m starting to get worried.

Thanks in advance

This CPU is known for running hot hopefully you can move the PC up from the carpet to allow for better air flow and maybe seek some good cooling options for the room in which this PC is located in to replace the air better.
