Radeon RX 850

I have just purchased an AISURIX videeo graphics card, with 8gb of memory. I have used the auto detect feature on AMDs website to install the proper drivers.

the problem I am experiencing is that when I connect both of my monitors to the video card, one monitor connects to the DisplayPort via a DP to DVI adapter cable the other monitor is connected to the HDMI output of the graphics card, then secondary monitor, will start to flash on and off, and what looks to be a screen full of static.

I am connecting  the monitos as listed:

primary main monitor - HDMI cable

secondary monoitor DisplayPort to DVI adapter.

When I attach the monitors as follow

Main Primary adapter connected to HDMI output on card, and the

secondary output built-in HDMI to DVI

Any help on troubleshooting  this would be greatyly appreciated.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

  1. Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. You mentioned using the auto-detect feature on AMD's website, but you can also check the card's manufacturer website for the latest drivers.

  2. Verify that the cables you're using are working correctly. Try using a different HDMI cable and a different DisplayPort to DVI adapter to see if the issue persists.

  3. Test each monitor individually. Disconnect one monitor and see if the other monitor works correctly. Then swap the monitors and test again. This will help you identify if one of the monitors is causing the issue.

  4. Check your graphics card's settings. Make sure your display settings are configured correctly in your graphics card software. You may need to adjust the resolution or refresh rate of the monitors.

  5. Try a different configuration of the monitors. Instead of using an adapter for one of the monitors, try using a different output on your graphics card, such as a second HDMI output or a DisplayPort output.

By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to identify and fix the issue with your dual monitor setup.
