Hey everyone, I'm a relatively new streamer on Twitch. I made it to affiliate and decided I wanted to up my game and upgrade to an actual decent PC and start doing streams with a webcam and overlay. Had never been much of a PC gamer or anything, not much knowledge on the subject either but here's what my build basically is... Corsair RM1000x Gold PSU, the Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU, Tuf Gaming Z790-Plus Wifi Motherboard, an Intel i9-14900k CPU, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM, etc... (just the case, fans, NVME storage, nothing too wild) and so I've been streaming and I have internet speeds that are about 600Mbps Down, 25-30Mbps Up and yet still I have disconnect protection screens popping up on my stream. For just like a second or two. I read on Google that this could be from my GPU and to consult the forums so here I am....
Anyone else had issues like this, and if so how did you mitigate it? I'm going to try running my encoder from the GPU and setting OBS as a higher priority for my CPU. See if that makes a difference but I've tweaked the bitrate and stuff like that a dozen times. Can't find a sweet spot, can only make it slightly better and then it'll just randomly be way worse later on, it's weird.
Thanks in advance for any help!
EDIT- I don't know if this is worth mentioning as I'm sure it doesn't matter but not only did I buy the ASUS Tuf Gaming Motherboard, I also bought a Tuf Gaming GPU, this particular RX 7900 XT is made by Tuf Gaming.
