I'm not privy to any of this information, but I speculate that it would not be out of character for AMD to save their best cards to respond to the 4090ti launch that I suspect is coming late 2023 to early 2024.
It would only make sense. Typically I see Nvidia launch their second most powerful GPU while AMD responds with theirs, after this over time they announce their third tier cards and work their way down to the mid tier GPUs, then they do the huge reveal showing off their Ti class cards in the case of Nvidia and in the case of AMD their xx50 XT cards. The rest of the release cadence has been scattered with the Nvidia 50 class cards being announced some time in between the mid tier GPUs and the best of this GEN.
This is just how I think things went with the RX 6000 series and the Nvidia 30 series. Things could randomly change though. AMD keeps people on their toes sometimes.
I could be way off the mark, and if I am I hope someone corrects me, but this is how I see things going.
