Problem with RX6900 XT (mouse and sound)

Hello, I have the following problem. When playing some games such as Diablo 1, Starcraft and Age of Empires 2, the mouse does not work properly, it stops for a fraction of a second and then works again. Also, the sound sounds like it is saturated and broken. It is very annoying. It is solved when I lower the resolution but it is not a solution that satisfies me. I have a Ryzen 7 5700G processor and I tried switching to graphics with the APU and it works correctly and well. What I need is to solve the problem with the RX6900XT since I bought it thinking that it would be my main graphics card.

My setup is the following:

AMD RYZEN 7 5700G 3.8 Ghz
RAM: DDR4 16 GB
Graphics card: RX6900XT XFX
Sound interface: Beheringer UMC204HD

Windows 11
Adrenalin ver. 24. 10.1

This sounds like a problem with one of the drivers.  Look for a driver update for your sound card / motherboard, and for chipset driver updates.  You can find them on your motherboard manufacturer's website to start with.  Also, what version of Windows 11 are you running (maybe 24H2?); you should also check to see what Windows Update wants to install.

 

After that, was there any new software you recently installed that might be conflicting with the graphics drivers or with the USB drivers?  It probably isn't a problem with your CPU, since the internal graphics appear to work fine.
