Have a look at the specs on asrock site, and/or download and read the manual.

Ryzen 5 5600x, B550 aorus pro ac, Hyper 212 black, 2 x 16gb F4-3600c16dgtzn kit, NM790 2TB, Nitro+RX6900XT, RM850, Win.10 Pro., LC27G55T..

Yes it does talk about the ram and OC but I have read articles which say otherwise so I just wanted to be 100%. Thank you

As mentioned by Goodplay according to ASRock specs on the Motherboard example that you originally posted it shows this under Memory Specs: https://asrock.com/MB/AMD/B550M%20Pro%20SE/index.us.asp#Specification

- Max. capacity of system memory: 128GB*
- Supports Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) memory modules

Now it is possible that not all Motherboards support XMP.

Best way to see if your RAM, that you are planning on purchasing, is listed under your Motherboard's QVL List and under the Motherboard's Specs : Memory it mentions that it supports XMP.

If your RAM is listed it will show you if the RAM is compatible with XMP and at what speeds. Otherwise open a Motherboard Support ticket and ask them directly if the RAM Manufacturer specs on your Memory doesn't answer your question.

It is possible that some RAM Part Numbers may not support XMP in certain motherboards thus checking the QVL List.

NOTE: The Motherboard Manufacturer is the one that determines if XMP is supported or not. Not the Chipset.
