I've been encountering some frustrating issues with OBS when playing FromSoftware's Sekiro, as well as occasionally with their other games like Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3, and Elden Ring.
Issue 1: Long Black Screen on Game Launch
Whenever I have OBS running and then launch Sekiro, there's a frustratingly long black screen before the game actually starts, sometimes lasting for over a minute. Oddly enough, this problem disappears entirely when I turn off OBS. Without OBS running, the black screen only lasts for 1 or 2 seconds, and everything works perfectly fine. Furthermore, it's worth noting that these issues persist even when OBS is running without any streaming or recording active. Merely having OBS open seems to trigger these problems.
Issue 2: Controller Insertion Causes Game Stuttering
Additionally, I've noticed that if I try to insert or remove my controller during gameplay while OBS is running, the game suffers from prolonged stutters that significantly disrupt the gameplay experience. However, when OBS is off and I insert or remove the controller during gameplay, everything runs smoothly. I only need to wait for about 2 seconds before I can continue playing without any issues.
