I had the same motherboard as you have, I had the most up to date bios and my Ryzen 7 3700x was not stable on it..
I had upgraded from a Ryzen 7 1700.. Which was rock solid on that board..
I worked out the VRM's were probably not up to running it properly, so I changed my mobo to match the CPU and haven't had any problems since..
It may well work ok for you with the latest bios, but personally I wouldn't use a 5000 series on x370.. It wasn't designed for those CPU's..
I have SAM enabled and it gives a nice little boost..
