I replaced my aging 17" MSI dual graphics i5 notebook for smaller 15".5 notebook. I was pleased with my Ryzen 7 1700X for my 3D CAD workload and I didn't hesitate to go with this notebook given the price and features. Integrated GPU versus dual graphics will play into decision making but I found out keeping it simple works without much hassle. As an odd background, I was able to run my old Adobe Illustrator 9 that made me a lot happy. On my final SPECviewperf 13, Energy and Maya didn't ran it completely which may be a driver issue as Maya only got stuck in the landscape scene.
