Hey everyone,
I bought a laptop last month with the specs -
AMD Ryzen™ 7 7840HS processor
NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 8GB
16 GB DDR5 RAM
1TB SSD Solid State Drive
Windows 11 Home
I started playing Spiderman remastered(65 GB) with Max settings , the CPU and GPU temp were nearly the same (60°).
Then when i started playing Spiderman:Miles Morales (which is the next part - 47 GB) the CPU temp reached 90° but the GPU temp was below 60°.
The games which did not overheat my CPU - (WWE 2k24 , God of War 2018 , Spiderman remastered)
The games which did overheat my CPU to 90° - ( Forza Horizon 5 , GTA 5 , Spiderman: Miles Morales , Cyberpunk 2077 )
I don't understand the difference that why does specific games overheats.
I tried basic troubleshooting steps like editing the power plan ( processor power management to 99%).
When i optimised my RAM usage, it started to work , all the games that I have mentioned ran with no issues and CPU temp was below 70°. I played for a whole day like that . But the same issue started again the next day , optimising RAM usage did not work this time , i don't think there's problem with memory usage.
I am just totally confused.
