Does anyone know what might have happened. My pc turned off suddenly when I was playing a game, then it wouldn’t turn on. So I unplugged the power then replugged and turned it on which caused the motherboard to catch fire. A image of it is attached.

Either something shorted out your Motherboard, like a foreign object or connected hardware,  or a electronic component overheated and shorted out due to being cheap.

It is hard to tell if the electronic component shorted out due to cheap material or you had a hardware connected that caused a massive short causing that electronic component to short out.

Did you drop anything on the motherboard like liquids or metallic bits?
