The SSD I'm running is a Samsung SATA 3 870 EVO V-NANO 4TB.
Does anyone know if this series of SSD's is fully supported by Windows 11?
Not urgent just planning ahead.
Already got my next MOBO selected (MSI X570 PRO CARBON) and CPU (Ryzen 9 5800x or 5900x) for my next core component upgrade.
I am planning ahead by future proofing my build by ensuring all hardware is fully supported by Windows 11.
Tried Samsung and Microsoft and could not find any information on SSD hardware support.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Only problem i can think of would be with 'directstorage api' which requires NVME.
Samsung support can probably answer any queries on compatibility.

Well then I will have one massive backup storage drive.
Thanks I may have to open a customer support ticket with Samsung to get the detailed support info I need.
Mine is definitely not performing at peak.
Peak Read is 560
Peak Write is 530
Highest Read I've seen is 241
Highest Write I've seen is 192
Though it is possible my MSI X370 M7 ACK MOBO is reaching it's max speeds with that SSD.
