Is Fluid Motion Frames causing PC to crash?

Hey all! I've been having a problem recently where my PC would randomly restart and wouldn't display through the GPU until I restarted the computer by using the switch to turn it off and on again. I noticed that this would happen on games like Battlefield 1 and Warzone, but not on R6 or Minecraft, which are much less intensive games.

Long story short, I was troubleshooting for days and nothing worked, but then I ended up disabling the AMD Fluid Motion Frames and now every game runs perfectly with no crashes. Is it common for FMF to cause crashes? Is it some new driver update that is causing it?

I built my PC around a week ago and here are the specs for it: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vnCL89

I have noticed that today when I enabled it for Mount and Blade 2 it was giving me FPS close to 300fps, but in reliability history on Windows it gave a windows error for amdf. It was odd but I guess Fluid motion frames still need fixing.

For anyone reading this, my problem was defective GPU hardware. I ordered a new rx6800 and returned my old one and my computer works great now
