Thanks for nothing AMD. Weeks ago, I started a thread about being unable to add things to my cart in your store. Right now, I got into the sale for graphics cards, the 6800XT I want is available, and I can't add it to my cart.
Managed to get in a Private Browsing window and the same problem.
Ditto for Edge.
And same for Chrome.
Got it on a Windows computer. You guys have problems with Linux or something?
Aaaaaand, problem with the order. My guess is that they ran out of stock as I entered my payment information. What a fine experience.
Such a lovely, competent process AMD has here. I'm ***GUESSING*** that the order was cancelled. All that happened was I finished putting my payment information in and hit the final order button. I got another Captcha which put me back in the store where I got a popup message saying their "might" have been a problem, possibly with stock. I've gotten no email one way or another.
What would it take, AMD, to actually say you ran out of stock as I entered the information you required instead of weasel-wording your way around things? And, since you have a fully complete order with all information in your system, how about telling me you'll automatically send the order out when next they're in stock? You're going to do that, right?
And, now, there's a charge showing for the transaction but still no email confirming the purchase.
