I want to use the display port in addition to the two DCI ports.

When I plug in a projector HDMI port through a display port-to-HDMI adaptor Windows 10 assigns a window but the window is not activated so I cannot assign a resolution for the port. When I select Advanced display settings it tells me that the Epson PJ is connected but the Display is not active.

I am stuck. Where do I go next?

Are you using an active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter?

I don't think it is active. I get the same results if I just try to use

the HDMI port. The HD6850 recognizes it is plugged into the epson

projector but it is not active.

So, do I need an active display port to HDMI adapter?

For three or more displays, one or more must be native DisplayPort or use active adapters.
