Hi Guys, I am Building Workstation for rendering my 3D work. I am building workstation with AMD #Thredripper #3970X. Using Gigabyte trx40 designare motherboard. Please guide me which SSD to use Samsung 670 Evo plus or Intel Optane SSD 900P and why?Thank y

I assumed you meant the 970 evo plus so compared that to a similarly priced Optane.

I would go for the 970 evo plus between the two of those.

It gives much more storage for the money.

While the Optane drive is faster overall it lags behind on the sequential read and write speed so would be slower loading large graphics files (I'm assuming the files are large)

In normal windows operation you aren't going to notice the difference between the drives,

I have to ask why you would limit yourself to PCIe 3.0 drives when I believe your board supports the newer PCIe 4.0 standard? I wouldn't buy anything without looking into the price and performance of those drives too.
