Depends on what you plan to do with it...

With this said., I'd highly recommend building an entirely new System but not yet.

Sure, you could upgrade your Graphics Card to something more modern (even an RX 550 would double your gaming performance) ... but realistically speaking for anyone on a budget that's simply not an option right now. Heck, even for those of us not on a Budget with the current prices there's no point in even looking at such right now.

Still with this said, that doesn't mean you can't get something that doesn't increase your Gaming Capabilities while being upgradable.

AMD Socket A12-9800e AM4 (with Cooler) (£70)

ASUS PRIME A320M-C R2.0 AMD Ryzen AM4 DDR4 HDMI (£55)

HyperX HX426C16FB2/8, 8 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 CL16 DIMM 1.2v (£80)

Total: £205

Which isn't bad given what it provides in terms of performance.

+20% Performance over FX 4100

+50% Performance over HD 5670

Now of course you could wait until the end of February as the Ryzen 3 2200G (£90) and Ryzen 5 2400G (£160) will be available.

Ryzen 3 2200G

+50% Performance over FX 4100

+82% Performance over HD 5670

(Above with R3 2200G instead / £225)

Ryzen 5 2400G

+60 - 115% Performance over FX 4100 (Application Dependant)

+184% Performance over HD 5670

(Above with R5 2400G instead / £295)

As a note the R5 2400G is approx. on-par Performance Wise with the HD 7870 / R9 270 / R7 360 / RX 550.
