Im new here (hi) and hope someone can help. I use 3d software and I noticed performance issues. Games are fine but when I use cinema 4d or zbrush i do notice stuttering sometimes and random freezes. I also see not all my cores are being used and ram. I was using a laptop before this and it was a zephyrus g15, ryzen 7 with an rtx 3080, and it preformed quite well (just for context).
I have looked online and could not find a solution I felt comfortable with. Some people mentioned updating bios and others the amd chipset on youtube. This is a new pc and i was a mac user for so long and now I am on windows it can get confusing. My bios version is from 2023 and when I looked to see if I did have the amd chipset installed, i could not see it in my applications. I am scared to update bios or even install the chipset as I dont want to mess up my pc.
