on my main screen i can not figure out how to shut off the Frame rate block in the top left corner .. anyone have suggestions on where to go to get it off

If it's Adrenaline, Open > Gear icon > Performance > uncheck "Show Metrics Overlay"

If it's your monitor, that's going to be dependent on your monitor's settings
