Is there some way to get rid of the branching format in these forum threads? When I come back to a thread, I can't tell what's new unless I go through the whole thread and examine the time stamps on every leaf of every branch. I've got the "Sort Oldest to Newest" option turned on, but that's of no use if the newest gets tacked on anywhere in the thread.
