I have a new HP Victus 16.1 gaming laptop with a TCL 32" TV extended screen connected via HDMI cable. After startup, the extended display looks great with sharp text. After a few minutes, the extended screen will go black for a few seconds and come back on with pixelated text. I discovered that if I open the AMS Software Adrenalin Edition and turn GPU Scaling off and back on, the extended screen will go black and come back with sharp text again for a while, but eventually it will switch back again. How can I make this setting stick so it doesn't keep changing back? It's like something occasionally overrides the setting and it goes back to pixelated text. Thanks!
