EEPROM content on FMCs

Dear all,

I have a question regarding designing an own FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC). On Pins C30 and C31 of the official connector (HPC and LPC) there is an I2C interface (https://fmchub.github.io/appendix/VITA57_FMC_HPC_LPC_SIGNALS_AND_PINOUT.html). I use the board XM105 as a reference and a starting point, in our working group we already use the board for debugging purposes.

In the UG from XM105 I learn that there is an EEPROM connected to the I2C interface.

My question is the following:
Is there a certain content required in this EEPROM? By googling I did not find any useful information perhaps I searched with the wrong keywords.

If a certain content is required is there any description available what the contents are and how they can be programmed into EEPROM?

Thanks for your answers!

Kind regards

Sebastian
