My Omen 25L has the 7-3700X CPU which I know runs hotter than most people think is normal. My PC only came with the stock CPU cooling fan and one rear exhaust. I was seeing temps approaching 90 degrees during really long gaming sessions and 55-60 degree idle temps. I added a bottom intake fan and top exhaust fan. My idle temp is now between 50 and 55 and gaming temps are around 80-85 max during extended sessions. I have seen so many posts regarding optimum fan placement and am thoroughly confused. Some posts say to remove the rear fan as it interrupts the optimum airflow, some say to add a second top fan (no room in my case), some say to go with liquid cooling.....Before I get the screwdriver out can someone tell me if I'm OK with my current setup?
