Hello all,
I recently got an issue where while gaming my CPU will keep randomly dropping from it's normal clock speed (3.9-4.2 Ghz) all the way down to 400 mhz.
Note: Sorry for low quality i had to set it low so my computer wouldn't crash when it dipped to 400 mhz.
I've been trying to fix it but just don't know how.
Specs:
Computer: Lenovo ideapad Gaming 3
CPU: Ryzen 5600H
Motherboard: Lenovo LNVNB161216
RAM: 16 gigs DDR4 @ 3200 mhz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 mobile max-q
OS Build: 19045.3208
I have the minimum processor state set to 50% in my power plan
This has been happening for about 3 weeks now, I just reset my laptop today. I got good stability for a while (10-20 min) but then it broke again.
My CPU nor GPU are overheating at all, if fact neither of them reach 60 degrees.
I don't know if this is a hardware or software issue, I'm hoping it's a software issue because otherwise replacement parts for this laptop are way too expensive.
