Have tried calling your Cellphone provider and see if they have a reason for it not connecting?
Since foxtron​, also from India, is having similar problems suggests it might have to do with your Cellphone Provider.

They have activated the account but now I have to again contact them through support for code activation as it doesn't allow me to proceed after entering the code.

Redeemed my code and now waiting for launch date

How much time did it take? It's been over a day for me after sending the details along with the code to the support.
It took around 32 hours for the account to be activated
The code took 1 min

You'll have to send a email for help and they will skip that part for you and add an extra verification step ie screenshot of vendor's mail
