I just tried updating my bios because i just upgraded my copy and its cause my pc to be black screened on both monitors not displaying anything. When attempting to upgrade my bios im getting a "invalid file " error

If this is a prebuilt pc (dell, hp, etc...), go to their website support.

Or if a self build, go to the motherboard maker website support.

can you post your Motherboard's Make & Model and CPU Make & Model will be very helpful.

While updating the BIOS did you have any type of interruption during the BIOS updating process?

Does your Motherboard have the new BIOS FLASHBACK button  feature?

Since I don't know the Make & Model of your Motherboard and which BIOS version you need to make your CPU compatible but on some motherboards if you have an older CPU installed and your upgrade to the latest BIOS version it will disable your older CPU and enable the newer CPU models, as an example only.
