Best 4K HDMI for RX 580 8GB?

This is my computer below - Note I recently upgraded the CPU, PSU and Memory 1 month ago

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Motherboard: Micro Star B450M Pro-M2 (MS-7B84)

Power Supply: Thermaltake 80 Plus Smart 700W

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor

Drive: Intel 660p NVMe PCIe M.2 512GB

Memory: Corsair DDR4 3200 2x8GB

Graphics Card Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.

Graphics Card: Radeon AMD SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX 580 Series 8 GB

Radeon Driver Installed: 21.3.1

Now this is the current HDMI I'm using - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07Q51MY6Y with a Samsung 43" Crystal Display 4K UHD SMART TV

Also the HDMI From Cable Company - https://imgur.com/gallery/OJdjH6U?fbclid=IwAR1HmR8QNlDNQa1JMg__WMc5OsepNRtDYIU2YBNVwrUby6ndfWDCmKnuS...

So I have Questions and please answer all questions when answering this forum if possible

  1. Is this a good HMDI to be using with what I stated above?

  2. Would the HDMI Cable from the Cable Company be better?

  3. What would be a better or the best to HDMI cable to be using?

The one from Amazon is better I believe. If the one from the cable company has the same specifications, it's just as good. I think if you would find a standard HDMI 2.0b cable it would be slightly better. I would consider also HDMI 2.1.

@sinxcosx  The only specifications on the one from the cable company are on the picture itself of premium high speed hdmi cable with ethernet awn style 80c 30v

What's the difference between HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 2.0b? I looked up on google but the answer doesn't make sense to me.

Do you mean HDMI 2.1? Wouldn't I only need that if I had a 8K TV?

I am using the Amazon cable and it works fine in 3 and 6 foot lengths. However I'd buy a cable with the latest 8K spec now since it is backwards compatible and has much higher bandwidth. I integrated a HTPC with a RX 480 into an AV system and had many issues getting RGB or full chroma 4:4:4 to work properly. Tried several cable brands and lengths.

@SofiaBonez All the information about HDMI you may find here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI

Generally, it's just higher bandwidth and a few other features.

HDMI Cables are broken down into 4 Variants:

Standard (4Gbps) 1080i60 / 720p60

High-Speed (10.2Gbps) 2160p30 / 1080p60

Premium High-Speed (18Gbps) 2160p60 HDR

Ultra High-Speed (48Gbps) 8K60 / 4K120 HDR

  1. Would the HDMI Cable from the Cable Company be better?

Subjective. Really how "Good" a HDMI Cable comes down to the Brand Quality., even then most will generally be identical... there is very little difference between an Amazon Basic £5 Cable compared to a Belkin £25 Cable aside from more gold plating being used, perhaps better quality plastics and copper... which can extend lifespan and reduce signal noise., but for the avg. user is never going to really make a difference.

  1. What would be a better or the best to HDMI cable to be using?

There is no "Better" or "Best" Option provided you have a Cable that supports the HDMI Port you're connecting it to.

I'm not going to get into it., but in essence there is a stupid disagreement going down between Display and Graphics Adapter Manufacturers over a dominance of Display Connection... this is why PC Monitors come at a notable premium (when prior to HDMI / DP., they were actually a cheaper option because they were more limited in their application)., and why TVs don't come with DisplayPort.

What's worse is as TVs are segmented in terms of Features in regards to Price., you'll find outside of "Premium" Cost Models; while they'll have all the features you want (and usable in Smart Mode) connections simply won't allow them to do that with most devices.

The reality is that due to said disagreement about Display Connections., with an attempt at Standard Dominance (when both Connections CLEARLY server different markets, so they're not even directly competing) ... well this ends up just causing headaches and frustrations to Consumers.

All you can do is work around said limitations

I don't own one. There are several 6ft at about $10. Probably would get AmazonBasics or monoprice for myself.
