B450 Tomahawk Max rear panel USB not being recognized as USB 3.2

Hello everyone, new to the forums here.

I've had my PC for a couple of years now, general specs:

B450 Tomahawk Max

Ryzen 2700x

AMD 5700xt

32GB ddr4 3200.

I recently picked up a Quest 3 Vr headset and intended to play some pcvr games through Quest link. However, when I attempted to plug my link cable into one of the ports, it only showed up as a USB 2.0 port resulting in poor performance.

However, I am ensuring that I have tried each of the shown USB 3.2 ports on the back of the motherboard and I have no luck with any of them. I looked in BIOs for any USB settings but found nothing of value.

Is there a way to ensure that these ports act as USB 3.0 ports?

As per the image you want to use the red-colored USB ports on the rear of the motherboard, or a computer case port that is connected via USB 3 cable to the internal motherboard connector.

Ensure that you also have the latest chipset driver installed for your motherboard, and if still having issues, you may want to check the BIOS version.
