ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING WIFI II and usb sound cards + pcie sound cards

Just built a new amd system with ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING WIFI II and a Ryzen 5700G with a Gigabyte RTX 3080.

This has the latest bios and agesa 1.2.0.3

Anyway got I the Creative Sound BlasterX G6 but when I start a game, eg battlefield 2042 or Warzone I play if for a minute or two the sound just stops. I have to unplug it and plug it in again for it to work.

I've tried every port, all drivers and bios/chipset drivers are up to date. Disabled the usb sleep settings. Even tried to plug the sound card into a usb hub, but nothing works. It just stops working when ever I play a game. I tried to disable the c-state and still the same issues.

I tried setting all the pcie and m.2 to gen3 mode and disabling the c-states and nothing works.

I also tried my old sound blaster ZxR pci sound card. That also has issues, whenever I play a game the left and right channels swap.

I thought these issue were fixed, especially with this being the latest board from asus with the latest bios updates. What can I do? I like the G6 but this is unacceptable.

So many people are having the same issues. I've sent support emails to both Asus and amd but no response.

I am beyond disappointed with this system. I waited so long to upgrade from my old intel 6700k which was rock solid, but this has put me off AMD completely.

Thanks

Impressive Headphones and amp.

But I believe the company you need to open a Support ticket with is not Asus or AMD but with Creative Sound. They have a "Live CHAT" feature and  Tech Support contact: https://us.creative.com/help/

Do you have the latest Creative Sound driver installed?

Have you tried configuring the Sound Blaster under Windows Sound Panel and Windows Setting- Audio?

When you have a GPU Card installed and you are using it, In Windows Sound Panel you must have the Sound Blaster as "Default Audio Device"

According to the specs it is compatible with Windows 10 in case you are using Windows 11 on your PC.

According to FAQ there is a Speaker/Headphone software switch under Sound Blaster Command software.

EDIT: I have read other Users threads in the past concerning Creative Sound audio hardware having issues also. Sounds more like a Creative Sound driver issue or engineering issue not being fully compatible with AMD motherboards.

by the way what happens if you connect the headphones directly to one of the Motherboard's Audio outputs instead of using the Creative Sound amp?  Some problem occurs?

Try connecting the Amp using another method rather than USB and see if the same thing occurs.
