Hello all, so last week I built a PC with all new parts. The build went great, it started up on the first boot, and every other game (besides Counter-Strike 2) I've thrown at it runs amazingly smooth. I'm on a fresh Windows 11 install. However, I play a lot of CS2 and I instantly noticed something wasn't right when I was playing how I normally do and realized my game was having these really annoying micro-stutters. They were very prevalent when I was moving my mouse around. With CS2, I know the FPS fluctuates a lot on pretty much any system, for me, I was getting anywhere from 400-600fps at all times. I've been trying all different kinds of fixes the last few days and nothing has worked, so I'm finally making a thread about it. I'm not sure what else I can try, if anyone can recommend me any fixes that would be great.
Here are only some of the different things I've already tried doing:
- limiting FPS (shows very stable 300fps, but stutters still there)
- using lower resolution
- enabling C-state options in BIOS
- disabling integrated graphics
- turning off all monitor settings such as Free Sync for example
- turning off all graphics options in AMD's Adrenaline
- turning off all logging/tracking metrics in Adrenaline
- reinstalling both GPU & CPU drivers
- playing with EXPO on and off
- trying different EXPO profiles
- using only one monitor
- trying different Display Port cables
- reinstalling the game
