Graphics card suppliers

The advent of esports and AI (artificial intelligence) in the last three years has brought discrete GPUs (graphics processing units) to the limelight. NVIDIA (NVDA) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) are the only two players in the discrete GPU market, and the growing use of these GPUs in various AI and graphics applications has encouraged Intel (INTC) to build its own discrete GPU by poaching talent from AMD.

It's hard to call it a "GPU weakness" when prices are so insane. Buy from AMD and you're likely to see your performance drop below slower card's performance of the next generation, buy from nVidia you have to deal with the Geforce Experience and possible security holes.

Being a user of both AMD and Nvidia an FYI on your comment. GeForce experience like ReLive on AMD is a completely optional install. You don't have to use it.
