AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7 GHz 12-Core Processor - stock issues?

Just curious, I have been trying to purchase a AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7 GHz 12-Core Processor for about 3 months and it hasn't been in stock anywhere. I am wondering what the issue is and when it will be made available again for retail sale. This is the last piece I need for my pc to build and I hoping I don't have to wait much longer

Could be after July before they're back in stock reliably, per Lisa Su the shortage is expected to last though mid 2021, with the highest core count CPUs affected most greatly. Until then your best bet is to continue to monitor the sites and get lucky.

I have been waiting almost 3 months for my 5900x pai for on November the 5th, you will be waiting a good while, they have so many 5900x preorders to fullfill
