AMD Radeon RX7700 XT Black Screen Crash

Hi there!

 

I recently purchased a new AMD Radeon RX7700 XT, upgraded from RX5700 and I am having a few problems since upgrading.

 

I uninstalled all old drivers with DDU in safe mode and then put in my new GPU. Was all working fine until mid game my screens went black, although I could still hear audio. I have constantly had to uninstall drivers and reinstall and the problem still persist. I might even be watching a YouTube video and it crashes.

 

I have tried numerous ways it might not be working, uninstalling the chipset and re-installing. AMD Utility clean up etc. Could the new drivers be rubbish that it is causing crashes? Could the GPU need re-seating?

 

Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure you’re using the latest drivers for the RX7700 XT and that the GPU is properly seated in the PCIe slot. Check power connections and monitor temps. If it keeps crashing, it could be a driver issue. try a stable older version.
