Aye, efficiency is just as important if not more important since aside from killing battery life, inefficient chips run slower due to thermal throttling. Current 5G phone owners are really seeing that effect. Still, it will be great if it just matches Qualcomm's offerings, since Qualcomm is being a massive ÐICK and forcing 5G into every 965 offering by separating the modem chip into its own module.

TomsHardware included a chart on their article. The irony is that at one time ATI had a SoC division, called Xilleon. When AMD bought ATI, they sold of Xilleon, which then became the Snapdragon SoC.
