Hello guys, so I don't why the Radeon Software doesn't have the custom resolution, like intel has it for its CPU but why not AMD?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 3 3550H With Radeon Vega Mobile
GPU : GTX 1050
Which Custom Resolution do you want to enable?
What does Radeon Settings "Display Specs" show for your laptop?
This tech site shows you how to create Custom Resolutions under Windows 10: How To Add A Custom Screen Resolution In Windows 10
Try using a small free program called CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) and see if you can create the Resolution you want. Not sure if it works for Laptops or not.
Then check Windows Settings 'Display" and see if the create Resolution is there to choose.
Like same dude, I was trying to play csgo and set my res to 1280x960 on my new laptop and it wouldn't give me the option either
i posted how to do it in the topic you started...
btw - 1280x960 isnt a smart resolution - 1440x1080 is better for a 1080p screen...
use Cru or Radeon Custom Resolution tool
I have tried cru and its crashing many of my games. And the radeon custom resolution tool is not visible in my laptop. Is there any fix ?
Read the overview, https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh3-032
deleted double post
if cru crashes your games you use wrong settings
RCRM.exe 358kb in size - its an older tool but still works fine - just look for it
