Shaving off 9% and 11% clock speeds for a 47% reduction in TDP. Not a bad trade off, especially considering the GPU wasn't touched. Looks like the perfect core of a home media server to me.

I was looking close at that new R5 2400GE due to its very low power rating, which is very easy on the PSU

Boxed with a wraith cooler, it would look nice on an X470 motherboard

Looking forward to updating my streaming PC to one of these.  Should be a decent energy saving over the A10-7850 I am running now, which I can only scale down to 65W in BIOS, not to mention the performance improvement.
