AMD 550 & X570 CHIPSET NATIVE VIRTUALIZATION SUPPORT

Happy New Year !!

I am planning to purchase AMD B550 Motherboard. Anybody have info if this chipset do support virtualization natively?

I do understand that CPU should support it and hopefully we can enable SVM mode in bios for that

Do AMD 550 chipset natively supports hardware assisted virtualization just like Intel 400 series CHIPSETS?

Intel H470 / Z490 (They natively support VT-D) as we can see from chipset specs page

Thanks

Mahesh.

I know the Asus B550 & X570 have this option on their boards.

Thanks for link and screen shots. Seems AMD replaced name IOMMU with SR-IOV, however unlike Intel chipsets (Ex. Z490, H470) there is no documented evidence that B550 or X570 really have SR-IOV capabilities. VT-D support is mentioned in Intel chipset specifications Intel last generation Z97 / H97 also lacks VT-D support natively but mother board manufacturer had injected VT-D support forcefully within BIOS and we can enable it but still its not native I doubt if same is true in case of AMD chipsets as well. AMD documentation is way back poor as compared to Intel documentation. At least don't see online for everybody If anybody have AMD chipsets full specifications apart from mentioned on their standard specs page, please share it Thanks Mahesh
