1) Observation. Who labels a GPU/VPU an INTERNAL DIGITAL AUDIO CONVERTER ( DAC )? IN DxDiag, AMD gfx are showing up as DACs. Funny from an Applied Physicist: Electronics Engineering point of view. Who thought that one up?

2) Older chipsets, lack of support. If you are dropping older models support ( amd a8 8550m/g for example ). Why not release the UNLOCKED FIRMWARE ? For full time burst pipeline, with no underclocking ( OC potential ) ?

Yeah I dunno why I got DAC as Digital Audo Converter....

Electronics mixed with Transceiver knowledge I guess.

Now about that uncompiled raw binary for the 8550 m/g series.

And / or just the unlocked AMD firmware for that chipset and packaging.

I can just mod these 2017 drivers, and firmware.

But it would be best to have the raw code, as a developer.

Since this chipset is no longer supprted.

Or would AMD like to be sued like HP for pushing products, then defining them as " obsolete " before the end of their lifecycle?
