980M and AV1 HW decoding?
AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370 Drivers Says in Graphics Capabilities that there is no AV1 decoding capability? Feels wrong?
Feels somewhat weird that if it has AV1 encode, it wouldn't have decode? What's up with this?
I'm just having issue with VideoLAN player that it fails in HW AV1 decoding and I get blank screen and disabling HW acceleration the video plays.
And not really knowing what is to blame here. Video worked with before I updated the drivers, but was it using HW acceleration, I don't know.

This chip does support hardware decoding of AV1 according to this page :

Yet the official specs from AMD on its graphic capabilities suggests otherwise on this page with this section mentionning the support of AV1 only in encoding bandwidth :
