7900 XTX - Games Crashing Non Stop- Driving Me Crazy :*

Good Evening Everyone,

I recently built a PC at Microcenter, spending around $3,000.00. Naturally, I expected this investment to deliver top-notch gaming performance. However, I've been facing some frustrating issues—my games keep crashing, and it seems to be related to my graphics card.

I've found numerous forums discussing similar problems, but I wanted to reach out here to gather some insight on what I should do next.

I'm currently using the latest driver (24.12.1), but things actually got worse after I installed it. The games I've been experiencing crashes with include:

  • Apex Legends - Playing in a ranked match, the game will literally just close - no AMD pop up.

  • Marvel's Rivals - This has been better recently no crashes, but same thing as Apex when it does - closes.

  • Black Myth: Wukong - Hard crash with AMD pop up - ticket submitted

  • Counter Strike 2 - Like what the actual fudge. really? CSGO 2?

I've tried this guys video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DYemTtSK0E&t=12s he advised to tune Max Frequency (MHZ) to the number the card company recommends. I tried that, thought it was helping but still having crashes.

I turned off Radeon Super Resolution. That isn't helping. Running games on HYPR-RX

Really don't want to return this PC. Its built well and I was enjoying it for several days and then this bull**bleep** started. The PC was assembled at Micro Center - everything is plugged in correctly. They installed everything.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers,

Yohjia
