7800XT Experience?

Hey Red Team!

I'm expecting my first Radeon 7800XT this coming Week.  I went with the ASUS Tuf version.  I'm using this in a build intended for 1440p gaming along with a 7800 X3D.  Anyone out there have and experiences with this card to share?

I'm very excited.

I like that idea quite a bit.  I probably have built more than 20 computers on this workbench.  The last one was Wine-Cool and I am very happy with that build.

I've been running the RX 7800XT GPU for a few months now in my workbench gaming computer and it's doing a great job.  I have the two-fan version from Sapphire and it runs nice and cool during gaming.  I even made my own support bracket out of one inch aluminum bar.

When your basement LAN already has six gaming computers on it, you move to the workbench to expand the LAN.When your basement LAN already has six gaming computers on it, you move to the workbench to expand the LAN.

My dad built that work bench maybe in the early 1970's or late 1960's.  He passed in 1990 and I inherited that work bench and most of his tools soon thereafter.  He was an electrical engineer (like me, following in his footsteps) and he was very skilled with woodworking.  Ah, but he never built a computer!

looks like it's seen a lot of action as well and has probably been home to many PC builds.

I have been talking about @BigAl01 workbench for awhile. Its Awesome! I could build one in the garage but that takes away from the things I actually want to do, like Builds. LMAO I love @BigAl01 workbench. I bet he is at 15+ builds on that thing.

Maybe we should have a best workbench contest @BigAl01.  Just an idea

I knew ordering something on backorder was a risk but I was hoping something would catch up sooner rather than later.  It's been more than a month.   The rest of the system is ready!  7800X3D, 32GB DDR5, 1TB NVME. PXL_20240919_034032383.jpgPXL_20240919_033237055.jpgPXL_20240919_033538834.jpgMaybe I should cancel this and spend the extra 50 on a 7900GRE?
