hello red teammates, i got my cpu 4 month ago, i have done some tweaks and stuff to my cpu and the temps are super cold to me, like when i use cinebench the max temp it gets is 60-65, and somehow it managed to score higher then before, my cpu is 7700x, i just wanted to know if i have made a perfect tune or just did a simple thing that a 3 year old can do.

nothing a lot just limiting the ppt to 85 and there was a field in curve optimizer for number i changed it and got to 30 thats it but i think im getting less tdp so i don't know if it would get less performance

In the video, setting Curve Optimizer to -30 to reduce voltage, coupled with a lower 85W PPT power cap, results in a 30°C temp reduction with no loss in performance.

With good cooling you can actually go the other way (increase PPT) and add a +200 frequency overclock on top of that.

really ? i was thinking im missing some performance because the ppt and that curve optimizer that got -30, i also got a 360mm aio i think thats good for the things you said like more ppt and higher clock, i would like to get some more details about the clock speed and if you would teach me about it because i really didn't find any thing in bios about more clock and overclock

In the same area of the BIOS where you reduced PPT, you can instead increase it and TDC and EDC. These are the power limits. You can use Ryzen Master to monitor these 3 dials to see which are nearing the limit when running an all-core workload such as Cinebench Multicore.

In the same area of the BIOS should also be a setting for boost clock override / auto overclock. You can set this to +200. This raises the boost clock ceiling by 200MHz.

Sounds like you've done a great job with your tuning! Those temps are definitely on the cooler side, especially for the 7700X. If you're getting better scores in Cinebench with lower temps, that's a sign you've probably found a sweet spot in your tweaks. It might seem simple, but getting optimal performance with low temps isn't always easy. Whatever you did, it’s working! Maybe share your settings for others to try out?

nothing to crazy, just limiting the ppt to 85, and in the curve optimizer setting i got it to -30, it almost got me 30 degree less.
