6600xt Witcher 3 dx12 crashing entire pc

After just a few minutes of being in the game, it crashes my entire PC, the screen goes black and a constant sound plays out of my speakers, the PC does nothing no matter how long I leave it, I have to hold down the power button and turn it back on. power draw/temp, etc is all low so that can't be an issue. I've had this problem with games in the past, I think they were Fortnite and cyberpunk 2077. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

If your Adrenalin driver wont start on reboot it might be windows update overwriting it with an old driver, I struggled for two weeks with that, I thought it was hardware issue. In the windows search bar type "Change Device Installation Settings", check "No" and "Save Changes". Afterwards use DDU and reinstall the GPU drivers, this seems to have fixed my issue for now.

I have this exact same issue with RX 7900XT. Only have it in DX12 titles but, not all. Fortnite works fine for me. Will try the advice from mirich.

Ok, I just did this after 20 crashes in Cyberpunk 2077. Clean DDU uninstall with no network, Setting windows "Change Device Installation Settings" to No and install latest driver (full install) with no network cable. Just ran Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark and played the game for 20 minutes with no issue. Will test other DX12 titles I have had issue with (COD Warzone). I would do this step before any other troubleshooting.
