At the heart of our latest AMD gaming PC, we start with an AMD Ryzen™ 9 3900X processor with 12 cores and 24 threads, ready for elite performance in gaming, streaming, content creation, and intensive multitasking.
We chose to mount the Ryzen 9 3900X on the ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero motherboard, powered by an AMD X570 chipset. This full ATX board is equipped with ASUS Aura RGB lighting, SupremeFX 8 channel audio, and rock-solid performance.
AMD went with G.SKILL 16GB Trident Z Royal high-speed memory, running at 3600 MHz and RGB lighting.
For storage, AMD chose the Corsair MP600 2TB NVME SSD for our primary drive. The MP600 utilizes next-gen PCI Express 4.0, capable of up to 5GB/s read and 4GB/s write speeds. For expanded storage, we utilize Seagate’s 4TB Barracuda hard drive to store loads of games and video content.
AMD geared up our gaming PC with an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT with 8GB of video memory. Powered by the all-new RDNA architecture, the Radeon 5700 series delivers high-performance gaming with next-gen PCI Express 4.0 for 1440p Gamers. RDNA architecture was engineered to greatly enhance features like Radeon Image Sharpening and FidelityFX. The 5700 XT series dramatically reduced input lag with Radeon Anti-Lag and offered stutter-free, tear-free gaming with AMD Radeon FreeSync technology
To power this PC, we went with an ASUS ROG Thor power supply, rated at 850W, with a built-in OLED screen that shows just how much power you’re drawing and more RGB lighting. We dressed up our cables with custom sleeves from Mainframe Customs with any color and pattern to our liking.
All this hardware was built inside the RAIJINTEK PAEAN case featuring an open-frame chassis and a tempered front glass panel. We mounted our graphics card with the RAIJINTEK PAXX-S vertical mount GPU Riser bracket. Once we got it all in there, we fitted the CPU with EKWB’s AM4 Velocity water block, Coolstream radiator, EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 pump, hardline tubing, and Cryofuel coolants with a range of colors to choose from.
