Hi all. I am new to this and seeking advice from you experts. I just built a new system with a Ryzen 7 2700x and a ASRock x470 Taichi Ultimate MB. My Wraith fan doesnt go on. I have the rgb colors, but no spin. Is there a thermastat which turns it on at a certain point or should it constantly run? I also will spin a few revolutions when it shuts down. Thank you in advance for your help!
is it plugged in?
1 cable for RGB and 1 cable for Fan - BOTH need to be connected
ps DONT put RGB-Header wrong - it will kill the LED of your Cooler and only work correct with blue after that (as i have learned the hard way)
Yes. I plugged in the stock wire ( the one attached) into CPU fan 1 pinset. the second wire to the AMD led fan header pinset, and the third wire with the USB in the AMD Led usb Header pinset. The LED still works, but cycles a different color with all three attached.
...
you need EITHER RGB header OR USB
ps - if your MoBo has RGB-Header than just use that 4Pin-RGB Header
then set it with your MoBo Software
Thank you I will try that.
Ok So I have all three power supplies plugged in. Stock wire int to CPU fan 1 pinset and USB header plugged in. I can change the RGB, but the fan still wont turn. I am guessing bad fan or wiring. Or do I need to plug into a different pin set than CPu fan 1?
TIA
actually if you plug in fan 4pin it should spin - if it dont than fan is broken
CHECK OUT OF BIOS UEFI OR SOMTHING WHIT CONECTORS OR IC-REGULATOR FOR FUN

Do you have all three power connectors on the motherboard connected to the power supply?
(one 24 pin, one 8 pin and one 4 pin)
