i have a 5 5600g and a rx 6600 and when i play fortnite, it like drops to 50-60 fps. i have a 180hz monitor also. please help me fix that problem

I've played a lot on Fornite recently and what I usually do is go with recommended specs then drop the resolution down one from recommended and turn on FSR in Adrenalin, and run it in performance mode. You can also turn off things like motion blur and experiment with Vsync or drop your setting to High or Med. This latest season I've noticed is also quite buggy. Fortnite will no longer run on a potato like it used to so it might also be that the 6600 isn't keeping up the higher FPS anymore. At the start of this season, I had a 6700XT in my other PC and it ran best on high settings at 1080P to get the higher FPS. Hope that helps

I used to think so as well, but the zero build mode is quite fun tbh

This is what has me interested in giving it another shot... I played it years ago and stopped because kids were getting TOO good at fighting + building. A plain battle royal mode without the building has me intrigued...

Its definitely much better, way easier to get victories for us older guys hah. Give it a try!

Zero Build is what got me to play the game on a more regular basis.

lol all the settings set to LOW for our Rx 480! xD

If you want to build faster then turn the building sensitivity up to 4 or 5
